Get that #1 Katy!
This originally leaked in late 2010, so I've been aware of it for a long time. However, they've touched it up and released it as the first single from "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection". I'm glad, because this is a really great song. Strong verses, powerful chorus. It has the catchiness and pop factor of the previous singles from "Teenage Dream" but has the angst and passion of "One of the Boys", her previous record. Love it! She did amazing on the Grammy performance as well!
Good, but meh.
This song is catchy and all, but it sounds like a combination of Teenage Dream and Hot 'n' Cold. Same verses, chorus and the change in the last verse. I was really looking forward to the new Katy, but she is slowly losing her creativity. But once again, it is likely to become the number 1 song for weeks, just because it's Katy Perry.
