Ragged and Ecstatic
...Wow, this album really blew me away. I was expecting something good, a decent follow-up of to "Daw Attention to Themselves" - but "Ragged and Ecstatic" is one of the greatest albums I've listened to this year. It's very heart-felt and passionate, in parts it almost feels as if the band is crying out, but still manages to retain that brilliant up-beat, lively sound which I love very much. For a bands first album, Ragged and Ecstatic is a very impressive and stand-out piece. Congratulations Yves Klein Blue, and thank you for such a fantastic album. Notable favourites on the album for me include: - Soldier. - Getting Wise. - Celebrity Death. - Reprise. - Gin Sling.
One of 2009's best albums!
The title says it all. If you haven't bought this album, you should.
