Calvin Rocks!!!

He still sounds like he's thumbing his nose at serious musos (take the perky electro-funk of Yeah Yeah Yeah La La La), but that doesn't mean these songs are any less passionate or storming - Ready For The Weekend's euphoric title track (and current single) surely has the chorus of the summer. He's made dance music that works wherever and whenever you hear it - at a house party, in the high street, in a nightclub having a 3am epiphany. Calvin Harris is your man for all these magic moments

Relax On The Weekend [even if you see] The Rain

Every once in a while an album comes out that just blows the rest away. The Weekend by Calvin Harris is surely one of those albums.

To me this album has shades of Paul Mac's musical brilliance mixed with 80's synth pop style from New Order/Depeche Mode and a touch of Presets madness

I've been a fan of the dancefloor for too many decades now, and with albums like this there is no wonder!!!!

I love you Calvin . . . . I'll put on my shoes and I'm ready, for it's the weekend!!!
