A long awaited return

If there's a 'Round 1' then there's got to be a Round 2. I cant wait to see what THE POOR bring to the stage next.

After so many years THE POOR have really come back loud and clear, and if you haven't bought this CD then "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING".

I've always listened to my old Who Cares CD and wondered where the next one was. Now its finally here after 16 long awaited years since Who Cares was released. And now through listening to Round 1 over and over in my car, and on my ipod, and in my "House", I've fallen in love with the poor all over again. There's something for everyone on Round 1 and I strongly recommend this album to anyone.

If a couple of songs is all your after then 'Kill My Faith', 'House', 'What You're Missing', "Guardian Angel" and 'Goodbye' are definitely the choices to be made.

Looking forward to more POOR, hopefully in the near future.

They're Back......

Another brilliant effort from quite easily 1 of the best bands Australia has ever produced.
From the tight as all F... rhythm section of Whitby & Gav, the in ya face guitar of Grynglas and those guteral all out vocals..you know it's Skenie :)

The opening track 'Kill My Faith' will show you what you're in for...

Buy this album!!!!

Oi!!!

They're probably best known for the bigger bands that several members went on to after the Poor broke up, with Randy Meisner joining Poco and then the Eagles, and Allen Kemp and Pat Shanahan turning up in New Riders of the Purple Sage. In their brief time together, the Poor recorded four 1966-68 singles,...
