by Jasmin's MomI'm pretty sure that no one but Rihanna knows what her music is about. Artists usually draw from personal experience for inspiration so from that stand-point alone I think it's fair assume that her experience with Brown has impacted her art to one degree or another. How could it not have? It was a pretty significant experience of violence in the life of a young woman. After watching the video for Russian Roulette, it seems pretty obvious that she is referencing her experience with Brown - albeit somewhat indirectly. I'm pleased to see that after her 'game' of russian roulette, she is the last one standing. Maybe that is her whole point.
