I've been a Lord fan for only two or four months now, but needless to say anyone would be impressed. Spectres of the Ascendant is just a introducton ,similar to Echoes of the past from their previous album Ascendance, but when the 48 seconds is over all hell breaks loose with the fast paced, adrenaline pumping, guitar shredding 5 and a half minutes that is called Redemption. 100 reasons is very catchy and easy to sing along to and headbang to, and from when i met him two weeks ago Andy, the bassist's, favourite. Eternal storm is one of those songs where u love it or hate it, I love it and you should too. Set in stone as the title track didn't disappoint. Someone else's dream is lovable. Forever is lord Tim's favourite song and shows a bitter tale similar too Sheakspeare's Romeo and Juliet. Beyond the light, a tale of a lost sibling is a heartfelt song that u can't stop listening to. The End of days: My fav of this album for the reasons, harsh vocals to represent the theme, the last day on Earth, crazy guitar and a catchy chorus. Be my guest is 8 minutes of insane guitar solos from many people including former Megadeth Glenn Drover. And New Horizens, to sum it up I want this played at my funeral! Also on the disc is "On a night like this" which is a cover of Kylie Monigue I prefer Lord's version:P

This has been my #1 favourite album for the past year. Set In Stone is the most diverse album filled with different emotions that I have ever heard. Even if you're not a fan of metal, there are some catchy rock songs, eg 100 Reasons that are good to sing a long to. Forever is the best song I've heard in years. Seriously, buy this album. It's one of the smartest things you will ever do and you will NOT regret it. The frontman Lord Tim is a musical genious, providing lead and rhythm guitar tracks, lead vocals, keyboards and he even produced this masterpiece. LORD are the friendliest, most humble people you will ever meet. Definetly my favourite band of all time.
