This album is great, have been waiting for GA's new work for a while, and this album does NOT dissapoint!!! Awesome dance tracks with a touch of funk Groove Aramada style, can't go wrong!
Disappointing follow up to Lovebox
Although I liked a few of the tracks, IMHO it seems a disappointing follow up to 'Lovebox'.. one of the greatest funky-electronic-fusion albums of all time. This album lacks the emotional punch of much of their earlier work. I'm all for reinventing oneself.. but they may have strayed a little too far from their core sound. It may grow on me, but it's doubtful. Guess i'll just have to keep listening to re-runs of Thievery Corp, Maxwell and Zero 7 for my sonic bliss ; )
Worth the wait!
A great album and good value for 18 tracks - Groove Armada does it again. A good mix of reggae beats, dance, and slow tracks. Get Down, the first single (..not a fan of this track) is not indicative of the rest - give it a listen.
