Impressed.
Lush tones and deep lyrics, Sundays Away's sound may seem similar, but it consistently evokes beauty and restraint. The differing combinations of acoustic guitar, drum machines, loops, keyboards, Piano and light distortion especially on the tracks "How It Changed", "Company Man", "Hold On" are great example of crafting a song like a story, with feeling and instinct. But pick any song on this album and you will find a solid and consistent work of art. Definitely worth more than just a repeat listen, more like a soundtrack to your life.
