Really..?
I don't know why people insist on calling Rihanna an artist, when she is nothing but an instrument, a badly tuned one at that. Rihanna doesn't write her own songs nor does she have a creative bone in her body. She's simply a product of her management and record label. Anyone who has heard her sing live will know she doesn't have a great voice and isn't able to hit half of the notes in most of her songs. I, myself am not a huge fan of Rihanna but she does know how to sell records and make lots of money. She releases some good songs, but this ablum has been lackluster at best. The weak lyrics in the songs written by Ester Dean are tragic, especially when Dean is usually very good at song writing. The simple beats and missmatched synths try to rescue the lack of melodic and listless vocal performance by Rihanna. This album is flawed in many ways and will no doubt end up being number one in various countries around the globe. I gave it two stars simply because Rihanna's management and record label are good businessmen and women.

As a Rihanna fan I couldn't have been more disappointed in the album. Worst.thing.ever!
