What's that noise?
'...Trail Of Dead's previous 3 albums saw the band's unique style and sound gradually expand to the point where it need to grow from a 4-piece to reproduce. 2011 and now stripped back to four guys, the massive sound has not diminished one decibel. In fact somwhow it's got noisier. There's a lot of snotty, shouty moments ("Summer Of All Dead Souls") but enough prog to spread the guitars like stormy clouds over lush landscapes ("The Fairlight Pendant", "Strange News From Another Planet"). Some people will never get over 'Source Tags & Codes' but I for one have loved watching this band continue to grow and expand on everything they've done since the first album.
