Album Review
After a few years of producing 12" EP releases on the labels Audiomatique and Poker Flat, Trentemøller made his full-length album debut with The Last Resort (2006). The album itself is a 13-track collection of new production work, much of it more ambient and atmospheric than the Danish techno DJ/producer's prior releases. Highlights include "Always Something Better," "Moan," and "Miss You." A second disc of Trentemøller's early singles is available as part of a special edition of The Last Resort.

Truly Beautiful
From the minute is starts... this album is lush and crystal clear...and warm and cool all at the same time. Its obviously been very well loved in its making. The best of its Genre for a very long time. Electronic but organic.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Listen Up
Trentemoller has produced an exceptional album in THE LAST RESORT. These days it is very rare that a new sound or style emerges within the dance/electronic music scene. Thats not to say this is a new in style, but the sounds on this album are fresh and expertly produced. If you enjoy FAT bass and smooth beats then this ablum is an absolute must. Minimal tech seems to be all the rage amoungst my peers and DJ mates and there's not one of them that hasn't been taken aback buy the rich, lush, deep melodies and rythymic beats. From slow burners to big dance floor movers this album rocks
If you liked Hybrid..
If you like breakbeat electronic you might like this. It reminds me very much of the albums "I Choose Noise" and "Morning Sci-Fi" by Hybrid, epic sweeping tracks like "Snowflake", interspersed with quicker songs like "Rykketid" and more mild songs like "Nightwalker" to keep you guessing.
