Rock kids storm the disco

After dealing out the tastiest Indie/Rock remixes on record, The Looks is filled with the essential MSTRKRFT ingredients; distorted funked up bass lines, rocking beats and an extra helping of 80's electro. The dirty rocking attitude lifts this release above the crowd of join-the-dot electronic music and the recent sea of faux grunge dancetracks. No studio noodling or reflective tracks - it's straight ahead floor fillers. The hint of synchopated funk shows these rock kids know exactly how to storm the disco. Ready to infect a party near you. Resistance if futile. Recommended. ps. Seek out their remixes - they are excellent.

My god - what a Itunes bargin!

MSTRKRFT's The Looks on Itunes is a total bargin (only $13 for a full album - damm!). And the music ain't half bad. Very "Daft Punk - Discovery" - just with heavier gutairs and more hand claps. Highlights - Work On You, Easy Love and (the heavy rocking) Neon Knights. If you love Daft Punk - you should love this stuff...

Best Dj's goin round

MSTRKRFT are the best dj's i have listened to. The way the album is put together is great. Best are Ezy Love, She's Good for business & Paris. Check Out the remixes.
