Simply The Best
I first discovered this young artist when he sang a song on Oz Idol 2 that stopped the nation in its tracks and that was The Prayer. He left the judges speechless and Anthony's version of The Prayer went on to become the highest selling single by an Australian artist in the history of the charts. He held the No.1 position for 5 weeks. Since then Anthony has sang this song for Queen Elizabeth 11 and was asked by Pavarotti (yes the one and only) to sing at a gala event held in Pavarotti honour. Anthony has truely a remarkable voice and if you can manage to get your hands on a copy of the live version from Idol or his many other live performances you will be hooked for life. I was surprised to see the single added to iTunes after all this time, it would have been great if they added the live recording as well. I can't recommend Anthony's music enough, he is one of a kind.
The best in the business
His voice is like pure velvet, Anthony's version of The Prayer is like no other, if you thought this was good, two years on his voice just keeps getting better. I can recommend every piece of music he has released. King of Vocals simply the best.

i am seriously obsessed with this song, i have had it on repeat for days and i still can't get enough of it. Anthony Callea truly is a legend of musical proportions for covering this song, it is by far the best version out of them all :)
