The Rip Tide is the third record from trumpeter Zach Condon's band Beirut, known for their Balkan, and indie-folk stylings. The album was recorded in Upstate New York during a cold winter, yet it still manages to retain the sunny, uplifting sound that is synonymous with the outfit. I love this, such good album coming into summer! Shame its so expensive for 9 tracks, but its worth it!
The rip off
Santa Fe is the standout track on a nominally good album which is way too short given my cash outlay for it
