Refreshing brilliant - Boys buy this one for the girl in your life!!
Now and again an album comes out that stands out from the rest by redefining your expectations of the listening experience one album can deliver. 'The World is Gone" by Various Production like many great albums crosses genre boundaries finding a unique mix of innstrumental, percussion, voice, and electronic sounds. The magic of the album is its restraint. This is evident in the contrast between songs such as the subtle "Dead Man" and the driving beats supporting songs like the albums name sake "The world is gone" The album as a whole gives you the feeling that it must have been masterfuly sculpted by people of conciderable talent to acheive the balance of musical influence it presents. This said, it leaves me wanting to hear more... this is a good thing yes???... Whatever your taste in music, i believe that anyone would appriciate the journey that this album delivers, from it's delicious beats, to stunning vocals and inbetween. [BOYS] This is one to buy for that girl in your life, she we love you for it + you get to listen to it too!
