Just Right

I've been waiting for this album for a while! It is definitely not a disappointment. Only a few listens and I'm assured that Children Collide have changed enough, but not too much, keeping all the bits I love.

The album has a great sound, which fits in perfectly with the Children Collide we know and love. Some heavy bass lines, distorted guitar, catchy beats and Johnny's amazing vocals make for a superb album - even with the usual ingredients for a rock album, they manage to have a distinct sound and remain a unique and exciting band. Standout tracks so far are Jellylegs, My Eagle, Inventions and Fashion Fits. The only thing lacking is some of their sweeter sounds; I was hoping for a track similar in composition to Marie Marie pt 2 - but it's okay, the rest of the album makes up for it.

If you're considering whether to buy this album - don't hesitate! Children Collide are onne of the best rock bands Australia has right now, get behind them! I love this album and can't wait to listen to it more!

This Album Gave Me Jellylegs!

The second album from Children Collide does not disappoint. Theory of Everything takes on a new dimension for the CC boys, with Johnny Mackay using those amazing vocals to his advantage again, but mellowing out a lot in some songs. The american recording is evident throughout the album also, on songs like "My Eagle", which will no doubt end up going mainstream. A bit more thought went into this album, but glimpses of the past still amaze in songs like "Asleep On My Feet" and "Inventions".

Yes!

This is the way to keep your fans with you theory of everything blends all their old stuffs rawness and imagination and adds a whole extra layer whether its johnnys out there lyrics and licks or heaths heavy bass sound or ryans insane drum sound on this album they got it right!!!
