Dark side of the Moon for the Noughties
Amazing!
Beautiful! This is Sigur Ros meets Penguin Cafe Orchestra IN AUSTRALIA! Decoder Ring make no effort to make their album short or sweet but the whopping 98 minutes of synths and wails are truly something to hear. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes Sigur Ros or any other post-rock sounds and is looking for something more to listen to. Great album guys!
Very impressed, very contemporary, and uplifting!
Thanks to their introduction as Coldplay's pre-concert, I am now thoroughly enjoying this band. I am impressed that this style of music is still being performed especially in the rock/pop eccentric Australian scene. This album is incredible, and with no apparent constraints to time limit, is something I would enjoy listening to again and again! Check out their earlier works as well. Thanks Decoder Ring for reimagining this genre!
