We Love Animals 10/10 - Great Intro, awesome beats, sick sounds! Just Awesome!!!!
No Security 9/10 - Kelis does great in this song and has a great dubstep beat, you hear them sirens WOOP WOOP!
Natural Born Hustler 8/10 - The beat makes Pitbull sound awesome! A bit repetitive though.
Lets Get Beezy 10/10 - Cmon! It has Will.I.Am how can i NOT like this song . . . Awesome! Awesome drum beats like pon de floor!
Park The Truck 9/10 - One of the darker songs on the album. Spank Rock sounds awesome! Too Short :(
Hold Up Hour Hand 9/10 - Love the beginning! Roisin Murphy has an incredible sultry voice!
Hip Hop Changed 10/10 - Just what i expected from Rye Rye, awesome rapper and awesome beat. Hip hot really changed...
Cooler Couleur 10/10 - Absolutely awesome. Yelle has an incredible voice! Wish i knew french to sing along :(
Birthday Bash 7/10 - A real malowi beat to it. Marina sounds like a sim singing lolz :D not my fave song....
Put Your Hands On Me 9/10 - Love Kardinal rapping on this song and Carla does a great job at the chorus.... the filmclip is very very wierd watch it :X
Royal T 10/10 - My favourite on the album! Just awesome dubstep and she sounds so awesome. Sexy Song !!! :D
Remedy 10/10 - My second fave on the album. Miike Snow has an awesome voice (its a band btw) and awesome beats to chill to.
Arena 8/10 - Have no clue who Poirier and Face-T are but they are pretty epic :D a real dancehall reggae song with awesome beats.
Tee-Pee Theme 9/10 - sounds like an Awesome to the game Tee-Pees and indians and awesome rapper. Too short though :( Good jov Drop The Lime!
Transilvania 10/10 - Awesome spooky beats and awesome steed lord vocals! Could play this in a horror movie, kinda.... Awesome!!!!!!!
Have Mercy 6/10 - Meh, not really a fan. Carrie Wilds has an okay voice but not that good, just my opinion.
Jump Up 10/10 - Included in Major Lazers album Guns dont kill people.... lazers do but it is Epicly awesome!!! Major Lazer, Leftside and Supahype are an awesome team!
Lone White Wolf 8/10 - Very wierd, his voice is wierd and a very dark song, has a wild west kind of theme.
Day N Nite Acappella 9/10 - Very Funny version of kid Cudi's day n nite lolz :D
Embrace The Martians 10/10 - Ends the album nicely another of my faves Kid Cudi kills it in a good way :D
So there you have it. The album properly titles Tons of friends is my favourite album this year so fear such a shame no one buys it they would rather buy stupid Jason Derulo and Lady Gaga but your choice your missing out :P It should be a hit in italy definetely!!!!!
Bit in two minds about this album
I really love(d) Crookers. Back in the day of the "Dr Love" Bumblebeez remix days.... Dasmn - it was simple, brilliant, damn excellent. However my love for Crookers has wained a bit since then... and this album is a bit meh... So word up!
Terrible album
Where have the Crookers gone? They burst onto the scene with a crazy, in your face, raw fidget electro sound in their remixes of songs like We Are Prostitutes, The Cat, The Salmon Dance, Protect & Entertain, Marina Gasolina and eventually the song that gave them fame, Day n Nite. Their singles Knobbers, Big Money Comin and My Penny followed suit, and when they announced an album their fans would have been ready for some more, but they went against the trend completely. Following the old cliche that collaboration heavy albums are usually disappointments, the Crookers have tried to experiment in everything, from Dub (No Security) to Minimal (Remedy - which is really just a remix of Miike Snow's 'In Search Of') and Dancehall (Jump Up - which is actually originally by Major Lazer, and only produced by the Crookers). Only Put Your Hands On Me and Embrace The Martian sound anything like their head banging old hits, and even those are shadows of what they are capable of.
