Ah Renee, you constantly blow me away.
Renee Geyer is without doubt an icon. This is a great album. So many wonderful memories and , above all, a celebration of an amazing talent. I remember Renee when, ifrom the early 70's' she comstantly stunned her audience with magical performamnces. Her deep and soulful tones, a voice that would rise and fall with the emotion of the song. Renee was then and still is simply stunning. It would be wonderful, in these days of shallow plastic R&B that we could really celebrate Renee's enormous contribution to the Astralian music scene, and, even more than that, her leading role in the developement of a serious Australian music culture. Please buy this CD. And when you do quietly give thanks to Renne Geyer for showing us how good we could really be.
