Hey BKB,
what an AMAZING feat!!! A great musical progression is alive here, from Byron to the World, Ambassadors to the international grass roots and activist community shining light into the far corners of the globe, not just keeping the flame alight but adding fuel to the fire which is more than an Australian thing, more than a Pacific thing more than a European thing...it's animal, it's flat out human thing.
An amazing time to be making music, a brilliant time to be buying music.
I purchased Stand Up (2006) in hard copy at a BKB show in Wollongong NSW, Sept 06' and since then I've begun my energy decent action plan which is why this time I've opted for the digital version.
1. I purchased from the comfort of the 7th green at boomerang golf course where I work, on my iPhone the morning of Aug 20 which saves energy on making a 40km trip into town to a record store, where I would pay a higher retail price.
2. the convenience was energy efficient in it's self.
3. A digital copy uses less industrial materials, shipping and PVC and un-recyclable elements in it's production.
I really appreciate the lengths you went to in bringing us this epic release. The amount of resources at your disposal this time around, the different engineers, producers, studios and continents...as a producer myself I can hear why years need to be spent nutting this one out. Sonically the most superior recording released by your band, songwriting is just stella, and it's dense rhythmic core is wrapped in the most nutritious out board production aesthetics, thank you for the effort! It's really done your live shows justice too and you've pulled it all together with great style and finess!
Superb Feminine energy present here in this band (5 strong) and the issues are dealt with creatively and tastefully. Big Respect!! next album should be called Blue Queen Brown!

I love Blue King Brown, their music and style is so indie and different to main stream bands.I really like indie stuff and music , Blue King Brown is my kinda style
This album is great each song is so individual and as it's own beat .
