New Australian voices
A very tidy sampler of strong new Australian voices, the songs are polished and clever and feature good acoustic playing.
The standout is "Carolina", a haunting, melancholy ballad, at 5:41 minutes it is the longest track. And here there is a lonely wilderness feel; you sit tired before a crackling campfire in the vast outback, possessed by a paralyzing melancholy, as the story unfolds in your mind's eye. This is in a class of its own and a truly great track.
