That means we’ve got the long-term insight that both beginners and power users need to get the most out of their iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Apple TVs.

***Cool Feature Alert: Every time we talk about an app in an article, instead of static screenshots, we’ll be using inline videos showing the app in action. We call these new videos “AppPlays.” AppPlays don’t interrupt your experience with an obtrusive, content-blocking video, however. Instead, they fit in nicely alongside that content, efficiently auto-playing as you scroll past and making it really clear if the app in question is up your alley or not.***

Great Content, App Not So Good

The content from the AppAdvice team has always been good, and I just wanted an easy way to consume it on my iPad, so I choose this app. Unfortunately this app is buggy and lacking features. Unless you're viewing an article there is no quick way to return to the top of the app home screen, tapping on the title bar does nothing. Apart from email there are no social sharing options in this app. Sometimes app store links do not work, even though I can manually locate the app myself. After watching an embedded video in fullscreen view I click on the 'Done' button, and nothing happens -- the only way to close the video is to toggle out of fullscreen mode. The iPhone view of this app displays features missing from the iPad: Send Tip, AppReviews, Appisodes, AppMovers, NewApps, AppUpdates, and AppSales. Part of the reason I paid for this app was to support AppAdvice so they can continue to create great content, so it really is a shame that I can get a better more feature packed experience viewing the free AppAdvice feed in Flipboard. A major update to this app for the iPad is way overdue.

A VERY long time coming..

At long last, an update is delivered about 2-3 years after they announced they were looking for a developer on their site.

It's nice to have an app that fully works now. My only comment would be that the main page feels like an information overload with the way the previews are handled for different dates/catagories/sections.

Good but...

Great App , the only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because , i have the iphone XS & the App seems to be bigger than my phone. Meaning , i cant actually reach the ‘settings’ tab.
Anyone having the same issue ? If so, what can i do please ?
