Barimate is one of the first weight management Apps written specifically for patients who have had all types of obesity surgery or are considering it.
The fifteen sub apps will help you to make informed choices about bariatric surgery and keep track of your weight changes and parameters like BMI and % EWL.
You can also use the iPhone camera to keep a record of the way your body is changing too. An experienced bariatric surgeon has written the application with advice on diet,Vitamins,types of surgery, sleep apnea and a fill predictor to help you work out if your gastric band needs adjustment.
ABOUT ME:
Record your initial body parameters and facts, type and date of surgery. This will give a baseline against which your progress can be measured.
PREDICT ME:
A visual prediction of how your body shape might look as your BMI changes.
INSPIRE ME:
Invite your family and friends to post encouraging messages to help you with your journey. What are your ten biggest reasons for losing weight?
SHOW ME:
Track your photographic record as you lose weight. Use the iPhone camera to store images and display as a slide show. This is something you should brag about! Try to take the same style of photo each time and see how your changes merge.
TRACK ME:
Record your weight loss at intervals and see how your Body indices are changing. Keep track of your Band fill volume and how you are feeling at each stage.
REPORT ME:
With one button you can collate all the information about your surgery, your progress in the track me section along with graphs and your first and most recent photos....All formatted on an A4 PDF document for printing or emailing to your surgeon. This will allow up to date feedback for your medical team and support group and a convenient record of your progress.(Also shortcut button in Track me)
GRAPH ME:
See your results graphically for the important indices of weight loss, BMI and excess weight loss as absolute values and percentages.Then send the graphs to your surgeon.
FEED ME:
Some useful dietary advice, simple food suggestions and golden rules for adjustable band eating etiquette. The suggested meals give a balanced and nutritious low calorie portion which are easy to prepare.
FILL ME ?:
An interactive estimator as to whether your band is at the right level of fill based on 7 questions and the orange, green and red band zone concept.
INFORM ME:
Information about bariatric operations, links to videos on the procedures and health problems and other amazing facts. Some general advice on choosing a surgeon and comparing operations.
MOVE ME:
Calculate energy expenditure for an activity for your weight and excercise duration.
NOURISH ME:
Information about Vitamin and mineral supplements Post surgery.
SUPPORT ME:
Listings of online Bariatric support agencies and sites.
POST ME:
Update your latest weight and progress to Facebook or Twitter!

Barimate Success
Barimate has been monumental in helping me keep track of my weight loss journey. It is an easy application to use with many useful functions, i love being able to track my journey visually by taking periodically taking photos.
