Description
The fetchtv Remote app allows you to discover movies & TV shows when you are out and about, or at home without disrupting what you’re watching on TV.
Fetchtv and non- fetchtv customers can browse the on demand movie catalogue and watch trailers on your phone. You can also search the 7 Day TV guide for shows you want to watch and setup reminders on your phone.
When you connect your phone to your fetchtv set-top box, you can browse the TV guide, and schedule and manage your recordings while you’re out and about. You can also watch movie trailers and rent movies ready to watch on your TV at home.
At home you can use the app to browse fetchtv content, choose movies, and set recordings without interrupting what you are watching on TV. Your phone also doubles as your fully functional remote control.
Features (some features are only available to fetchtv customers):

> Post comments about what you’re watching on Facebook or Twitter
> Connect to your fetchtv set-top box to enable the following:
• Schedule recordings wherever you are
• Browse your recordings on your fetchtv set-top box
• ‘Tap to play’ a recording or on demand movie or TV show
• Manage scheduled and Series Tag recordings
• Change channels, and adjust the volume on your TV
• Rent an on demand movie
Requirements:
iPad, iPhone (3G, 3GS or 4) or iPod touch (2nd, 3rd or 4th Generation) with iOS 4.2
Changing channels on your TV, recording to your fetchtv set-top box and playing on demand programs on the TV require the fetchtv Remote app to be connected to the same home network as your fetchtv set-top box.
For the best experience we recommend using Wi-Fi network connection.
Notes for connecting the fetchtv Remote app with your fetchtv set-top box (pairing):
• Please be at home, with your TV on and your fetchtv set-top box turned on
• From the Home screen menu, go to Settings > Manage > Mobile Devices
• Follow the on screen messages to setup your initial connection
You should only need to connect to your fetchtv set-top box once, however if for some reason you lose your connection, just run the setup process again.

Crashes when connected
Connects, crashes immediately on starting app. Pretty useless in this state ...
Crashing even more now
After update it now crashes on start before I can do anything.
