Description
Field Agent by apmasphere is a mobile property management inspection application.
Field Agent walks the property manager through 4 different inspection types. For a room by room routine inspection similar to Field Agent 1 we have have the 'Quick Routine' option and for the extensive routine inspection we have a 'Detailed Routine' option. To complete the tenancy cycle we have an Ingoing and Outgoing Inspection option.
These reports are based on the requirements throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and an editable template for other jurisdictions.
The property manager is prompted to add comments and photos to each room and feature in the property. After the inspection is complete then the report can be emailed directly from your iPhone straight to the client or back to the office computer.
Field Agent includes the popular ‘overlay’ feature. This feature brings up photos from previous inspections and lets the property manager use them as an overlay, meaning you can take the same photo over and over again. It’s a great way to keep track of the condition of a property over the life of the tenancy.
Routine Inspections are free of charge. Ingoing and Outgoing inspections cost 1 credit and credits can be purchased from within the application using your iTunes account.

Needs to be better
Obviously still in its early stages - spelling mistakes in the description choices. Poor connectivity with the pc - can only email off the report, cannot access the data or photos directly with the computer which is not as user friendly as I would have liked.
Very much photo focussed with one general summary section - I would like a lot more functionality and ability to alter formatting etc.
The concept is there but the App needs a lot of work to be able to completely take over the inspection form. It does not yet compete with the Console Pocket Gateway (and similar) which have the full integration with the PM software and really save time.
A snap to use
As real estate agents we constantly strive to improve, whilst also looking for greater efficiency. One of the most time consuming elements of property management practice is the preparation of condition reports. So when a piece of software comes along that promises to produce better reports in less time it is always going to get our attention. We have been trialling Field Agent in our office for the last week and the results are impressive. When comparing it to the other software available, it is also exceptional value. My advice? Great app
Absolutely fantastic application! We use this app for a large rent roll and the results have been excellent. Saves time, saves money and saves paperwork in the office enabling our property managers to spend more of their day on other tasks.
