Mumble - High quality, low latency voice chat
Mumble is a free group voice chat application. It allows you to talk to your friends on the go, and has finally arrived on the iOS platform. Simply find a public server and join it to chat with your friends!
Mumble requires a connection to a server to function. Servers can be rented from commercial hosting companies. The Mumble server software is also available free-of-charge under and open source license, so individuals are free to create their own servers, without limitations. Ratings and Reviews
Good but missing Push-To-Talk
Great App! But it definitely needs a push to talk button! I pretty much can't use voice unless I'm in a quiet room, as it transmits on the slightest sound! (Even worse outdoors....)
Other than that, good job! But, hey, it's free ain't it? :P
Make calls
This app needs to make calls, to be more like discord
Great Quality, but no Auto connect.
This app is fantastic, the lag is very VERY low & the audio quality is superb, but unfortunately the iOS app is missing the ability to "Reconnect to last server on startup" like the PC version has. This makes the app a lot slower to launch & join a session (although it is pretty fast, I use it to control my home via voice & it's a hassle to tap & wait for 3 things before being able to give a command.)
Another handy option would be if we could disable chat while the app is in the background/locked (keeps app ready to use, but doesn't drain battery. This would be useful in a similar way to the above feature, but even faster startup time.) Other than the feature nitpicking this is some fantastic software, thanks Devs!
