In Plinkerton not all is well with your online life.

When abusive messages are sent from Anna's phone she claims it wasn't her, but hadn't she just insulted everyone on Friend Book? Meanwhile, you have a project due and need some help, and your best friend Bryan is obsessing about earwax!

But not everything is as it seems online. Feelings will be hurt and one of your friends is edging closer to danger every day.

In Plinkerton, real cybersafety issues are played out amongst a group of friends in the form of an engaging mystery story. Young people learn about maintaining friendships and getting their schoolwork done, whilst managing real online scenarios that kids face every day.

Cybersafety messages are delivered in game, with consequences that unfold with the story. Plinkerton demonstrates to children and young people the importance of safe online behaviour within an enthralling script set in their world, rather than abstract messages delivered by parents or teachers.

Plinkerton is compatible with the App-titude online assessment system, and was previewed at the inaugural Boys and Technology Conference facilitated by Brighton Grammar School's Crowther Centre.
