Great for non musicians
Simple way to produce great sounding pieces. It used to crash a lot but the developers have fixed it and it is rock stable now. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely fantastic
I genuinely struggle with finding chord progressions when trying to make music. That entirely solves it - it not only helps me find good sounds, it also shows me how to play them. Brilliant app - brilliant creators - put some ads on it so you make money bc it’s deserved but keep it the way it is in the sense that anyone can use it.
Simple interface, pretty noises.
There are a few "tinkering around" music apps around now, and this is one more.
It's a nice interface, and can be a lot of fun to swish and tap away a couple of minutes, and some people seem to "get the knack" right away, judging from other reviews.
As a wannabe composer, it feels very much like the "circle of fifths" was brainstormed, and this app is the result - it almost feels like a uni project come to life. It does make nice noises though, although almost everything you'd want to add to the app (different instruments, in particular) is a purchase - skins, sounds, everything.
This is more of a "what if...?" musical app, rather than a serious performance tool.
But it's a hell of a lot of fun, especially if formal music knowledge is a bit intimidating. Who knows, it might start you off on a really interesting journey!
And the guys who developed it are some of the nicest chaps you'd want to meet. Go check out the videos on their website, there's a lot to play with.
