After reading Allen Carr's Easy way to quit smoking and becoming a non-smoker almost instantly was I excited to see what Allen had to say in regards to weight-loss. There are a few things that you may disagree with through out the book like not eating meat and dairy but there is also a lot to gain from this read.
Lose weight by becoming a vegan
After giving up smoking through Allen Carr's famous book, I happily paid for the losing weight book with great expectations. Only to become annoyed when he refers to meat and dairy food as 'junk' and the main cause of people's weight issues. He did have some good points, but they were far out-weighed by great irritation at his feeble attempt to convert to veganism. No thanks Allen, I'll have a steak and a milkshake as I am a carnivorous opportunistic ape as our physiology and anthropology states.
