"Hard work and results should be recognized by others, but when they aren't, advocating for oneself becomes necessary," Sandberg opines. A new generation of women will learn from Sandberg's experiences, and those of her own generation will be inspired by this thoughtful and practical book.

Amazing read for EVERY female
I am only part way through the book and I can safely safe I now have a girl crush on Sheryl Sandberg... she speaks my language! Life at the top of the career jungle gym is filled with men and few opportunities for women still which is one reason why Sheryl’s points are interesting, valid, and encouraging for women - especially mothers who feel an immense pressure to stop irking and become housewives while raising their family. Loved it and I hope to see more from the author.

I have found an intelligent, feminist, working mother who is a true mentor. Someone I can see flashes of myself in, and aspire to build myself towards!
