Inescapable Opinion
After watching this video, it seem to me to be very convincing... but I warn everyone... these productions are made to PERSUADE. So I ask everyone who watches any science videos, "ask questions", challenge the video, are you just going to accept what they say? (If you do.. I ask what if they are wrong?)
This video is made greatly, it even taps your emotions about Al Gore family, to sympathise with him.. but think hard.. is it just media or is it truth?
Honestly I have no idea who to believe, for the fact that I am not a scientist and that I can only rely on what im told, but remember, you can't always rely on what is being told...
Take the time to see both sides of the story before you make your final judgement... Watch "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and then tell us what you think?...
Overall, it is a great movie, but I stress that media is made to persuade, if it wasn't then what is the purpose? They don't just make movies to entertain us.. there is always a meaning.. ^-^...
selectively put forward and incorrectly interpreted
A truck driver in the UK sued the public schools there for showing the film with a lot of, shall we say mistruths to school children. The court determined that there were 13 major fallacies in the film and several blatant lies with now basis whatsoever. Now schools must not show the film unless they include the fact that it is a biased and partisan political film and the material showing the fallacies of some of the data and conclusions must also be shown to the class that saw the film.
