99% sure this movie is meant to be rated just M. Excellent movie with a brilliant finale sometimes feels rushed but one of Yates best work.

Give it time, give it a chance

My opinion of this film has changed numerous times since the first time I saw it but I can truly say it was only due to my comparison of it with the book itself. I used to comment on the fact that they left important scenes out and that I was disappointed but that does not effect the film on a whole, the film is simply getting to the point. Compared with the novel, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is quiet light-hearted and humorous, which I do think is beneficial for some audiences but not necessarily fans of the book series. This film is a great adaptation though because it is so entertaining. You find yourself in love-hate relationships with certain characters because they were portrayed so well and of course you continue to cheer on the trio, feeling for them at times. It’s just the continuation of the series and the characters journey but it still means a lot, introducing some of the most important factors to the entire series alone. I believe this film is wonderful and if you give it the chance, you may find it to grow on you. If you are fan of the films alone, you should enjoy it. If you have read the books, yes you may be disappointed plot wise, but don’t let that put you down. There are a lot of laughs to be had.
