King of Devil's Island

Set in Norway's infamous Bastøy Boys Home correctional facility, KING OF DEVIL'S ISLAND is based on a incredible true story. When seventeen-year-old Erling - rumoured to be a murderer - arrives at the facility, he immediately clashes with the sadistic governor (Stellan Skarsgård), who believes that manual labour, uncompromising discipline and harsh punishment are the only successful methods for turning the boys into honourable members of society. But soon, Erling refuses to accept the constant abuse and slowly rouses the rest of the boys out of their resigned existence, encouraging them to fight.
