Oh no

This movie resembles what I would suspect was a college assignment. Probably best to spend your money elsewhere.

Not bad, and quite engaging at times

An interesting premise, with a plague wiping out life on Earth, and the few survivors trying to understand why it happened, and how to survive. Its been done before, and probably done better, but this is not bad for what appears to be a cast of fairly young actors. What's not clear from iTunes is that in fact this 'movie' is made from a series of 'webisodes' - internet based mini-series - and so you see the entire serial in one movie. It flows reasonably well in places, but in some others, its a bit disjointed and the acting uneven. Being a web-based production its clear that its done cheaply. Not much in the way of special visual effects beyond the 'black cloud' spreading across the city as the plague erupts. The producers have gone for the jerky hand-held camera work which is so popular these days.

It kept my attention throughout, though at times I found myself wondering how long this would have before it was finished. I think had this been done as a cinema movie, with a bigger budget, or potentially as a TV mini series, it would have been much better, and would have rated higher. I'd certainly rent it - don't buy it.

Overall, 3 out of 5 stars. A good effort, and quite well done, but a missed opportunity in that if more had been invested to turn it into a TV miniseries, it could have allowed for a much more interesting story to be developed.

Yawn

While the idea may have had promise the execution was...boring and predictable! disappointed.
