The California-born Butler arrived in Pinjarra at age 11 and rooted himself in the Australian music landscape with 2004's peerless Sunrise Over the Sea LP.

Strong reaction to busking sets in Perth in the mid-'90s put Butler on the path to his first LP with a full band, Three, featuring Jason McGann (drums) and Gavin Shoesmith (bass). The album includes "Pickapart," a showcase for Butler's wizardry on the 12-string guitar. This live version is so natural, it hardly belongs in the realm of men.

It's pretty good
this CD is a good collaboration of their work.
I am not a big fan of the John Butler Trio.
Over all it is alright, but not tempting enough to buy.
It's perfect for all John Butler Trio Fans.
