Despite the earthy beards and a no-nonsense tendency to hammer out hooks with all the delicacy of a blacksmith at an anvil, Melbourne's Midnight Juggernauts are definitely not of this world. The cosmic three-piece — Andrew Juggernaut, Vincent Vendetta, and drummer Daniel Stricker — has taken up residency somewhere off the shoulder of Orion, on a spaceship powered by the dance force of disco synths, having charted a course to galactic domination via their splendid 2008 Big Day Out appearance, on the back of sole album so far, 2007's outstanding Dystopia. Here we invite you to share their cockpit with standout star-crushers, "Shadows" and "Into the Galaxy," a couple of live tracks ("Tombstone" and "Blitzkrieg"), and several warp-speed remixes for bands who exist on or around their own fizzing wavelength (Cut Copy's "Hearts on Fire" and the Presets' "Down Down Down").
