Organised to benefit the flood and bushfire aid efforts, Sound Relief harnesses the funding-raising power of rock 'n' roll over two barnstorming nights held simultaneously at the MCG and the SCG. Among the stellar artists sallying forth for an essential cause are those pioneers among musical activists, Midnight Oil, whose pro-Pintupi protest classic, "Beds Are Burning," still packs a punch more than two decades after its initial release; 21st-century rap-tivists Bliss N Eso, offering a personal recap of their journey so far on "Eye of the Storm"; Gabriella Cilmi, cranking it up a notch with her party anthem "Don't Wanna Go To Bed Now"; and Jet, reminding everyone what this is all about with "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is."
