13. "Black Swan" by Thom Yorke: "Thom Yorke, the lead singer from the world's most original band, Radiohead, put out his solo album "The Eraser" in 2006. It is a beats and electronics album with lots of sampling but still keeps it sounding incredibly organic. "Black Swan" uses chopped up Radiohead bits and pieces and the most incredible bass line ever. The line "People get crushed like biscuit crumbs" is a perfect example why Thom Yorke is a modern day W.B Yeats and will be remembered as one of the foremost figures of 21st century music."
14. "Lost!" by Coldplay: "A lot of people are saying that "Viva La Vida", Coldplay's latest album, does not have good singles. I say, who cares!? They needed to take some risks and reinvent themselves and they did it well. Personally I think the band could have bent it even further to the left, but I love this album all the same. "Lost!" is the stand out song for me but all the tracks have great soul and Brian Eno's production is wonderful. Make sure you listen to the last track on the album which is the acoustic version."
