quite possibly one of the most embarrassingly bad podcasts ever

let me start by saying i've listened to episodes 1 through to 49, all of them, all of the way through, i speak as someone informed. i hoped it would get better, but it's only gotten worse..... this podcast is embarrasingly bad on so many levels. the production quality is poor. the humour is not funny. the hosts sound like they know didly about anything other than windows machines circa 1993. they have a horrible habbit of reading "tech" stories {press releases} they find on the internet word for word - often bumbling their way through it not knowing what they are talking about. But the worst part of the show is one of the hosts; Mark. he comes across as one of those guys who thinks he is hilarious, he thinks he's "zany", he's the guy at the party who puts the lamp shade on his head and thinks it's comedy gold. i imagine him as a real life David Brent from BBC's "The Office" - he believes in his heart that he is a chilled out entertainer but is really someone who just talks over the top of everyone. His humour is often smutty and sometimes quite racist, he does "funny" voices as "characters" that are demeening to many people, {a horrible Indian accent sprouting incorrect indian stero types?? what's next? black face singing "mammy"?} so let me give some constructive advice: 1} LOSE THE FUNNY VOICES "characters". they are so bad they make me whince like a replay of an old "hey hey it's saturday" episode from 1988. 2} STOP READING THE WHOLE PRESS RELEASE. just summarize, give us a link, it's boring. 3} LET GLENN GET A WORD IN. now and then. 4} KEEP IT SHORT. stop rambling or learn to EDIT! 5} LISTEN TO SOME GOOD TECH PODCASTS. and learn.... In closing, let me apologize on behalf of all Aussies, and all Tech Heads, because these two guys are pathetic examples of what both of these should be.

Hillarious

These guys sound half stoned/drunk as they ramble through some light consumer oriented technical related news. They use an easy to digest conversational mode that sounds like they are throwing in some jargon they heard some smart people say. Their technical expertise is questionable and they are frequently inaccurate, but they deliver with good humour and a healthy dose of Australian slang. This should be compulsory listening for foreign based technical support workers.

Forgettable

Possibly one of the worst Technical Podcasts I have ever heard. They call themselves Tech Heads and yet had not heard of the Turing Awards named after Alan Turing? Give me a break. They banter on continuously and yet manage to say very little of interest. They sound like they have just had a joint before going on air. Do yourself a favour by not listening.
