Fantastic podcast, very grateful to the uni of st. scholastica for putting it up, and to doc. c also, who by the way is an absolutely fantastic lecturer. A subject covered in one lecture in my med course is given 3 or 4 here, and you are constantly made to think for yourself, to identify the patterns and logic behind different body structures and to develop problem solving abilities. The end result is you gain an actual understanding of the matter at hand, rather than just rote-learning facts. There is a substantial amount of material here, and I am working through it slowly, taking it alongside my medicine course as reinforcement, and I'm looking forward to listening to the other courses, eg. pathophysiology and embryology, that are also available on this site. I would really recommend you have a listen to these podcasts, doc. c is very good at encouraging your natural interest in the fascinating and awe-inspiring thing that is the human body. Don't be put off if you are not a uni/medical student - material is presented in such a way that any high school student with an interest in human biol will enjoy and get a lot from these lectures.

Dr Cizadlo is a wonderful educator. His podcasts and lecture style is clear, his examples demystify complex subjects and he appears to derive real, tangible enjoyment from his work.
