League Tables
I enjoyed the interview with Brian Caldwell concerning the possibility of publishing school league tables based on our recent National Testing program. As a student of teaching I am aware of the negatives based on the experiences in England (as Brian elaborated) but as a mother I was also pleased to hear the interviewer (Ed?) ask relevant questions from the parents perspective. Brian's answers were briefly informative and have given me a perspective to consider when I am indeed confronted with these same questions as a teacher.
