Excellent coverage of truth behind science and technology news

This podcast provides in-depth coverage on an ongoing series of scientific and technological issues, making a special point of ensuring the full story is told, as an antidote to the media's current trend towards superficial/sound-bite reporting. Highly interesting and thought-provoking, it nevertheless manages to also be extremely entertaining. Most shows are focussed on a particular topic, which are always thoroughly researched with an emphasis on accurate and complete coverage. While clearly educational, the material presented is also fascinating. For anyone with an interest in science and truth in reporting, or those just interested in finding out what is going on behind the brief headlines related to scientific issues, this is the podcast for you. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Very good

There is an eclectic mix of topics and each is well researched. The scripting could be better. Honestly sometimes if he says "For what it's worth..", "...or what have you" or "so to speak" again I'm gonna go insane. However it is well worth getting over these quibbles as Lorne Ipsum is engaging and when talking space hardware, enthusiatstic and presents the subject of critical thinking without the usual self-satisfied gloating of other skeptic oriented casts. Really good stuff with good and interesting resources tied in on the blog.
