CleanRadio Ep 3 | Travelling Without An Itinerary | In this episode we discuss some of ways on how to travel without an Itinerary. We also answer a listener’s question which asks ‘How do you decide when you are going to leave a place?’ Travelling Without An Itinerary While travelling with no set plans or places to go, can seem like a pretty daunting experience, it can actually be one of the most relaxing ways to see the world. Travelling without an itinerary doesn’t mean that you don’t have any idea where you are going or no plans at all, but rather you don’t constrict yourself to booking everything on your trip By all means having a rough plan is a good way to travel. Ant and I will normally have a pretty general idea where we will head next, but things can change day to day. That’s the beauty of travelling without an itinerary. So how can you do it? Below are a few was you can travel without an itinerary: Speak To Other Travellers Chatting to people you meet while you are travelling can be a great source of information that will help you decide where to continue your travels to next. Travellers who have been to places you are thinking about going to can be an honest and reliable source of up to date information and opinions. They will usually tell you about a place-whether it is worth going to or not, and then you can make your own mind up about it. Speaking to other travellers about good accommodation can help you also decide decent places to lay your head. Interact Online Joining forums and asking questions online can be another great source of allowing you get a general outline for your travels. People are happy to help when questions are asked and you can often get honest advice. Following various travel blogs and websites can be another source on getting your information online on where to travel. There are so many websites that write honestly about a place and provide relevant information that might be exactly what you are looking for. Deciding when to leave a place This question worked well with our topic of this episode and works much the same of travelling without an itinerary. We really only leave a place when we feel like we have seen as much as we have wanted to and are ready to move on. Of course, because we don’t have strict plans as to where we are going next, we never feel rushed to see a place or leave somewhere feeling though as we haven’t seen enough. The only time we have felt like we really didn’t see enough of a country was when we were in the United States and instead of moving over to the west coast headed for Mexico because the USA was just too expensive! | 28 5 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

CleanRadio Ep 2. Deciding How & Where To Travel | In this episode we discuss why choosing how and where you are going to travel are important factors when planning your overseas trip. Where To Go It is important to think about your interests and what you enjoy doing as a starting point for where you want to travel to. Or on the other hand maybe you want to go to a familiar place that you have travelled to before which will help you find your 'travelling legs'. Then again, maybe you will go somewhere completely different for a bit of an adventure to start you off on your journey! Accommodation, Transport And Your Travel Partner Knowing how you want to travel and what your style and level of comfort is, is also important when planning your trip. Do you need air conditioning in your room? Can you catch local buses or long overnight trains or would you rather fly to different place. Knowing all this before you set out will make your trip easier. Of course, your style may change over the course of your trip, and that's ok! Embrace the change and how you travel and enjoy where you are going and what you are doing. If you are travelling with someone, make sure you are comfortable being with them all the time and you know each others travel styles. You don't want to end up travelling with someone who doesn't share any interests as you or who has different standards of how they travel. Heading To The Cold For A While! Central Park, NY Question Time We also answered a question we constanty get asked by our readers and that is always how to travel through Vietnam by motorbike. We gave some overal tips and advice on how to do it. But contact us if you jave any further questions. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font- | 31 3 11 | Free | View In iTunes |
