Security Now is excellent

The great thing about Security Now is that most of the shows are not consecutive. So where ever you may be, you can pop out that iPod and listen to Security Now. Steve Gibson doesn't get to over the top with terminology, so it is possible for everyone, from first time listeners, to computer programmers, to understand what he is talking about. The great thing about this show is that they actually talk about problems which will occur to people. We don't want to hear about websites shutting down over law suits, we want to hear how we can protect our computers from outsider attack.

Excellent

Steve's enthusiam and knowledge on security provide a great education for the tech inclined person. Not really suited for the sub-novice who is not prepared to put in some extra reading and experimentation, however there is enough straight forward, sensible advice for this podcast to be useful to most people. And there are some tips that everyone should be forced to learn before they get online.

A tricky subject made understandable

It always amazes me how Steve and Leo manage to make such a complex subject both understandable and interesting. I came to this podcast via TWIT and it is actually now one of my favourites. Practical advise and a couple of guys who are not afraid to take on the big boys make this riveting to listen too. Virtually the only podcast that I will listen to multiple times, as it is so packed full of info. Added Bit - I have just listen to the podcast on buffer overruns, and I actually get it! In this podcast I learn something everytime I listen to it.
