Customer Reviews
The Perfect Football Catch-up
Football Weekly provides the perfect blend of information and editorial, with a nice chunk of humour thrown in for good measure. Barry Glendinning is an absolute riot (and the rest of the pod aren't half-bad either!) A great way for a far-away football fan in Australia to keep up with the comings and goings of European football.
Greatest Football Podcast Ever
This podcast is entertaining, informative and just plain funny. So I HIGHLY recommend James Richardson, Barry Glendenning, Paul Doyle, Kevin McCarra, Sean Ingle and the great (Dr.) Sid Lowe, just to name a few of the regulars. A MUST LISTEN, FOR ANY AND EVERY FOOTBALL FAN
A must for football fans
Informative, clever, occasionally hilarious and generally brilliantly entertaining. There is simply no better podcast for your weekly (err make that twice weekly) slice of English football review. Richardson is an effortlessly charming host, and regulars Glendenning, Lowe, Ingle, McCarra and Honigstein the perfect foils. The panel rotates which is a shame as the aforementioned are better than the rest, and for me at least I'd prefer less Euro coverage and more EPL, but the faults are fewer than the positives. If you want post match interviews and straight reporting (which I do as well) you'll also need the BBC's pods, but for commentary and opinion -- this is the winner hands down.
