Gaby doet het weer !
Prachtig album, in een totaal andere stijl: veel elektronische beats maar toch hier en daar wat zomerse ritmes ertussen. In première onlangs mogen genieten van de nieuwe songs op Stubru.uit, ook live ben je een échte aanrader! Muy fan-tas-ti-co :-)
almost as good as ghostboy
ghostboy was happier i guess angelhead is more personal, definitely more poppy and maybe a bit too clean (tu no me queires mucho mejor in live version) a very good album, understandably hard to copy peppyness of 1st album. my kids already know it by heart, so....

Dit album is echt wel af. Na zijn vorige plaat vreesde ik dat dit toch een stuk minder ging zijn, maar het tegendeel is waar. Een echte aanrader!

Though born in Puerto Rico, Gabriel Ríos vaulted to stardom while living in Belgium, with a similarly pan-cultural electronic pop approach embracing elements of rock, hip-hop, and salsa. Born in 1978, Ríos learned to play guitar from his father, and as a teen joined his church's choir. At 18 he relocated from Latin America to Ghent, Belgium, with his then-girlfriend, studying painting while playing in local bands including the Nothing Bastards and L. Santo.
