De stem van een jonge oppergod

Die stem van Jasper Steverlinck! Of hij nu de betere Bowie-songs brengt, of zijn eigen eersteklas composities, het blijft bloedstollend genieten. Van "You Are" en vooral "Me and My Melody" word je helemaal koud van pure schoonheid. Liefhebbers van schlagers en bombastisch pseudo-klassiek, spoel jullie oren uit en luister eens naar een ECHTE zanger!

Le chanteur d'Arid n'a pas son pareil pour nous transporter au 7e ciel. Et ce n'est pas du chiqué! La preuve avec ce live où il donne toute la mesure de son talent. Sans compter la captation qui est excellente. Ce groupe mériterait une reconnaissance internationale.

The Belgian rock group Arid consists of vocalist/guitarist Jasper Steverlinck, guitarist David Du Pré, bassist Filip Ros, and drummer Steven Van Havere. The group's emotive alternative rock sound was spawned in 1996 when Steverlinck began collaborating with Du Pre while they were both involved in other bands. After leaving their other projects and recruiting Ros and Van Havere, Arid signed a deal with Double T Records in 1997. Their debut album, At the Close of Every Day, was released in Europe two...
