Got into Techno and Trance music in his early teens. He started playing music in 1994 making his debut at a local station. He made parties with some friends in clubs, industries and not only, with some big Greek guests like Mike Dee, Verros, Johnny sin and many others, until 2002. In 2004 he came back as a dj and played in many clubs on the Greek islands. In 2008 Sa.Du started producing techno music and made three E.Ps the Sa.Du E.P, the Kyklos E.P and the Time A Part Of Life E.P In 2009 Sa.Du changed his music style into deep techno and minimal. He send a track to the team from Bonzai Progressive and the first E.P was released with the name Sa.Du, which opened a new page with fresh and deep sounds. Two more E.Ps followed the DREAM E.P and the MACHINE AND A MAN E.P. 2010 sees the release of his track Lost In Deep, a deep feeling track with some progressive touch and trip sounds, with some special remixes. With these early skills in music he soon started playing other instruments including, guitars, drums, most brass instruments and soon after at the age of 14 discovered turntables. Hip Hop was one of his biggest infuences at that time and encouraged him to think of creative ways to hear and play sounds from the tables. Soon after he started playing private parties, events and such.But there seemed to be something missing..... At the age of 17 he decided to move to South Florida, Miami and this is where he was introduced to The House Sound. With a past in latin music, disco and R&B, Wonji decided to twist and meld these sounds together in his live sets which led him to move to his next step: Producing. By 1999 House music had evolved so much with many new and updated sounds Wonji could not resist getting involved in production. Musical instruments changed so the music changed, the scenes changed so I had to try and keep up with all the new styles, says Wonji. Fascinated by the past music and sounds of The Hunger, Front 242, and later DJs like John Digweed, Timo Mass and so on, it was only a matter of time till he started producing his own work. With an ever evolving sound, Wonji will for sure be around in the music scene for a while. Never passing up new musical possibilities and changing the way music is to be played. His first contact with electronic music happens a the sweet age of 6 when Dance and House music hit the local radios. Intense happiness filled him listening to these tunes. Not long before he starts experimenting with recording tunes and making his own mixtapes. Ten years later after learning how to mix properly on turn-tables he starts his carrier as a professional DJ playing Techno and listening to DJs like Marco Carola, Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, Jeff Mills, Samuel L Session. He filled his DJ-bag with the dark sounds of strong Techno. But only 2 years later he finds himself tired of that sound and starts the search of his very own musical identity. DJs like Danny Tenaglia, Vibe, Victor Calderone, Carlos Manaca, Richie Santana convince him that Tribal is his call. Still not satisfied he ends up to adapt House and Alternative Music into his sets and this turns out to be his true self. Influenced by names like Silicone Soul, Peace Division, Little Louie Vega, Armand Van Helden, Harry Romero, Alton Miller , Afrika Bambaataa gave him the needed diversification and shades in tones that this genre contains. Actually, it is that variation, that diversification that House Music offers that marks his identity as a DJ because he can choose between one side or the other, achieving a more intense atmosphere in his sets. He has played along with DJs like Franco de Mulero, Jose Viscaya, Malambo, Lexx, Chile, Chloe Harris of London and with David Guetta in 2009 after winning the first DJ contest of his hometown. He has played in Mission Club, Cooseres, La Cantera, Joan of Arc, Central Valley Pacific events, private parties, etc. Today he finds himself as a DJ and producer to be part of the infamous Bonzai label group. Convinced of their professionalism and way of working he finds his tracks released on Bonzai Basiks. This is for Lucio the fulfillment of a dream as he always had wanted to be part of this label. At age 6 he was attracted by the sounds of soul, funk and disco playing from his parents jukebox. Rocked to the sounds of Tamla Motown, James Brown, Barry White, KC & The Sunshine Band and later Kraftwerk. All this built up in him to a music culture dominated by rhythm and groove. In the early 80s he began his DJ career (as DJ Fab) and became resident in a trendy club in Brussels called -Disco Steve-. Residencies and bookings would follow one another until 1988, playing in many local clubs, always quality venues, such as Le Veaudeville, Le Garage, Le Variete, La Pergola, Le Disque Rouge (Fuse), Las Vegas, and many others. The musical styles he spins with finesse and technique are funk, disco and new wave, the hype music for this era. After hanging up his DJ gloves to explore new musical fields, music production, we see him reappear in 1989 with the release of his debut single -Warbeat- under the pseudonym Bassline Boys. The success was immediate following the mini scandal triggered by this title when it was broadcasted in Chistophe Dechavanne's -ciel mon mardi- (TF1 - French TV), and the musical response entitled -On se calme (Mr. Dechavanne)- turned into a massive hit in France, selling over 400,000 copies and awarded with a gold record. New Beat, Acid House, Techno and Hardcore releases will succeed during the following years under various monickers, such as Fax Yourself, BSR, Defcon, DSK, Hydrowave, Speed Limit, etc. In 1994 he decided to return to the turntables, and when he met Claude El Divino (City Parade) he joined the -Underground Energy- team, which allowed him play in one of the most prestigious clubs of Belgium, the Extreme. After a series of bookings with Energy Underground he became a resident at Extreme. Other residencies and bookings followed, including La Raza, Planet Hardcore, Cocoon, Illusion, Zenith, Pavarotti and so on. After a break from both the deejaying and studio work during the early 2000s, he comes back in 2006 with a new challenge, creating and running his own DJ Bar, which will be called -bar©ode-. The project took its flight, the parties became famous throughout Belgium and abroad, and renowned DJs lined up behind bar©odes decks. Pole Folder (Bedrock Records), Filterheadz (I Love Techno), CP (Pulse Factory) Ecco (KMB records), Rudy (Fuse), Xian (Cafe dAnvers), Milo (You), Dave Kane, Trap House, to name a few. Inspired by the name of his latest project -bar©ode- DJ Fab became Fab Code, and after the bar closed late 2007, he resumed the hunt for bookings. He joined the team of DJ Ecco called -United Elektro- and also played at -Dance Machine- and -Acid Or Not- parties until the end of 2009, then Fab decided to move and settle in the United Kingdom. Freshly landed in Manchester, his new home, he went back to work and returned to the recording studio to relaunch his career as a producer and composer. Genius Composer and Performer, the man's imprint on the scene is remarkable. Hit by surprise by a virus called Electronic Dance music, Laurent developed his knowledge of music and technology in Parallel until his first demos saw the light of day in may of 1995. 1996 saw him release his first tracks on the infamous Bonzai imprint, but that is 1998 that saw him grow up and become the progressive trance artist we know today, with the release of his first Airwave record, I want to Believe, immediately picked up by UK's own Sasha and Oakenfold, and later on by up and coming youngster Tiesto, gaining popularity as much as he was playing Laurent's records. The same can be said about the whole dutch trance scene, in which Laurent's records were and still are omnipresent. That is how Laurent developed his DJ and performing career from back then, having several gigs worldwide, from Tokyo to San Francisco, from Auckland, NZ to Toronto, and from Manchester to Athens. Hundreds of gigs saw him perform at the world's biggest clubs of those times, Slinky, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, The Gallery, 1015, Dopler in Bratislava, and many others, all of them had the chance to welcome Laurent Airwave one day, if not several times, which proves that you do not need to over-commercialize your music to get rewarded all around the world. «Everyday is full of new challenges, and limits only exist into the human brain» are Airwave's words of wisdom for every single day. After the studies he decides to build a little home recordings studio in his house with a Roland JP-8080 a Drum machine and a TB-303 so starts to produce a lot of demos in different genres from techno to trance and hard house...but the quality of the tracks is still very poor. In 2000 he writes The Mistery Inside, low quality but good melody...so spending a lot of weeks to work on that and with the precious help of DjMill&ManuelT and the producer Elvio Trampus from Nebula, he finally recorded his first vinyl on Uforecordings. This was the beginning;and consolidated the frienship with DjMill,in 2001 saw the birth of their new project Antithesys with the single World of Dreams, after that many others like The Gate and a lot remixes for Raptor,Black Runner,Rotar for Wicked records,Pleasent records,Uforecordings and Stik records followed. At the age of 1 year he moved to Almelo which is a medium city in the eastern part of the Netherlands. Thorin grew up in a musical family, uncles who play guitar, Drums and many other instruments, aunts who sing lets say it is all in the family. Almost everyone in the family is doing something with music. His father played in several bands some with guitar and others with percussion. At a young age thorin got connected with music, influences from bands like Deep Purple, the Doors, Pink Floyd. Thorins taste of music is very wide from soul to funky stuff to modern music. In 1992, some friends introduced Thorin into house music nowadays so called oldskool house. While partying a lot Thorin got interested in DJing. He bought some turntables and started to learn mixing 12" records. After 6 months he controlled dj basics. Buying records and records and getting more DJ skills. He also got interested in producing his own music, lucky for him he got in contact with an old friend from his father. That friend started with producing in the early 80s. Maurice learned Thorin the basics of Producing, Maurice already had released some music on different labels and did some things together with Sander Kleinenberg in the early 90s. He was also Sander Ks first Sound/Audio engineer. In 1996 Thorin switched from the hardcore house scene to nice and chill Progressive House music. In 2003 Thorin and Maurice started producing together and while doing some social projects they had to start some kind of Production Company. So in 2006 the Promusic Foundation started. 2 cds released in 6 months working on a third, stichting Promusic got more projects and work than expected. With that reason Thorin decided to take a break with DJing and focus more on Promusic. Now in 2007 Thorin picked up DJing again and started focus more on his own style of producing. Thorin bought a house and started investing more in a new studio. With a stable home base we can expect a lot in 2007. 2008, Thorin decided to stop buying vinyl and switch to digital mixing. He updated his home studio bought some new equipment and switched over to Traktor scratch with the time coded vinyl. Meanwhile several tracks got signed and released at different labels around the globe including: Reticent Recordings USA, Bit Records Mexico and Bellarine Records Australia. Thorin is working on some remix projects together with some friends in the States (Zodiacal Light, And3rsun and Dax Wadley) which will be 2 EPs. 2009, Thorin started to focus on releasing music at BonzaiMusic only. Thanks to his buddy from LagoVista in Texas the one and only And3rsun aka Wilder who he met in 2002 at the online radio station PureDJ.com he got his first release on Bonzai Music in January 2009. Meanwhile Thorin started to grow inside BonzaiMusic, being added to the dj roster of Bonzaimusics bookings agency and releasing more and more on BonzaiMusic and its sub labels. 2010, Thorin joined with the second release of Bonzai Musics R3mixed project which was a remix of the well known long time no1 dj Tiesto and his first release ever -The Tube-. Soon after he relocated to Tyumen, Siberian City where he spend the first 15 years of his life. Music and sports were the only activities that kept him going in the oil- rigged city. At home his father was his main influence and shaped his perception of music. Dad was deeply rooted in good old school rock, in the likes of Beatles, Nazareth, CCR, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne. Didn't take long for Dimitry to pick up the tennis racket and rock on at the tender age of 4. In addition, his mother's friend was a piano teacher who started tutoring young Dimitry from an early age, which initially was perceived as hardworking and difficult -- became easy and interesting. Sports was his little sanctuary, where the body exercised and the mind relaxed, composing a flow of ideas that later on grew more complex. The year was 2002, Dubai was the new city that would in turn add to his aural perception. In the United Arab Emirates he completed high school; in a poly-cultural environment were music, culture and technology coincide hand in hand. His younger brother formed a metal-band soon after Dimitry joined him to express their ideas, in a more sophisticated level. Rhythm guitar intrigued Dimitry and still does to this day. The band has composed over 20 original pieces over the last years, with tastes of heavy metal, brutal death, melodic and the like and now more diverse and stronger than ever. After school Dimitry set off to Prague to study business, however his journey was cut short. Within a year his passion guided him to follow another path. In 2006, back to square one, he joined an audio engineering school in Dubai. Where he successfully completing his audio engineering degree in 2007 and was honored with a bachelor's degree in Arts. The educational experience equipped him with several valuable tools; and his perception of music grew immensely. Now being able to put each and every one of his ideas on canvas. In this educational journey, he met his co-producer artist, Costas Papa. Although Costas was heavily influenced from house, trance and techno; at some level they had similar visions. This gave birth to the Dimitry Liss & Costas Papa "coalition", formed in 2007 to serve the global community with quality electronic music. Although the project is like a new born baby, it has crawled into several leading indie labels such as Bit Records Mexico, Xela Recordings, Stranamente Records, Total Wipes, Reticent Recordings to name a few. Success was immediate: he got his first residency! Not long before he got interested in making his own music. With his savings Jimmy bought his first PC with a sound card and a Korg keyboard. After a few years he discovered his own sound and at the beginning of 2004 he released his first record: Jim-Y - Digital Trumpets. In the meantime he was working on a project with his best friend Ruly. Jimmy had finished a new demo for which he had the perfect voice in mind and boldly he sent it over under the project name R & Y to his favorite vocalist and singer. And guess what! Only 2 weeks later he got contacted by Jan Johnston. Jan had already written the lyrics and called for a date to do the recordings for this song, that is how R&Y Meets Jan Johnston - Its Cold Outside was born. This single was released in 2007 with remixes from Filterheadz and Sied van Riel. In 2008 Morning On The Terrace got released on the label Bonzai Fiesta. At the end of 2008, Ruly decided to stop with the project, and that was when Jim-Y changed into Jimmy Galle. Jimmy's sound was different as a solo dj/producer. At age 6 he was attracted by the sounds of soul, funk and disco playing from his parents jukebox. In the early 80s he began his DJ career (as DJ Fab) and became resident in a trendy club in Brussels called -Disco Steve-. Residencies and bookings would follow one another until 1988, playing in many local clubs, always quality venues, such as Le Veaudeville, Le Garage, Le Variete, La Pergola, Le Disque Rouge (Fuse), Las Vegas, and many others. The musical styles he spins with finesse and technique are funk, disco and new wave, the hype music for this era. After hanging up his DJ gloves to explore new musical fields, music production, we see him reappear in 1989 with the release of his debut single -Warbeat- under the pseudonym Bassline Boys. The success was immediate following the mini scandal triggered by this title when it was broadcasted in Chistophe Dechavanne's -ciel mon mardi- (TF1 - French TV), and the musical response entitled -On se calme (Mr. Dechavanne)- turned into a massive hit in France, selling over 400,000 copies and awarded with a gold record. In 1997, together with Andrea Angelini and Davide DOnofrio he created a small and independent label named Syncretic that produced and released two records W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G. EP and Antiorario. Under his Cogor alias, he produced three tracks released by Syncretic Records. In he 1998 took part in the production of a compilation released by the magazine Time Out among other artists such as Marco Passarani, Lory D. and other artists from the Italian electronic scene. Apart from the by-no-means trifling matter of co-producing house record -- 51 Days' 'Paper Moon' -- he's also been at the birth of the Trancesetters, the splendidly-named Tata Box Inhibitors, P.I.M.P., Loophole, Amfibian, Mindfunk and an ever-expanding list of inventively-spelt production credits. You'd wonder, looking at the fellow's discography, whether he ever got any kip (we've been assured by his family that he does). Jamez, for those that haven't been paying attention, was part of a Dutch triumvirate -- the other two being Dobre and DJ Zki -- that helped transform European house music in the early 90s. Working closely with Dutch outfit Touché Records, they produced a series of consistently great singles of wildly differing styles ranging from the jazzy (Jamshed), deep (51 Days) and the acclaimed harder style of Tata Box Inhibitors and Trancesetters. While most UK DJ's looked to the US for new records, oddly, lots of American DJs -- Danny Tenaglia being a particular fan -- championed this new European style (Underworld's Darren Emerson was also an early supporter of Touché's releases). Like many a young European, Jamez was turned on to dance music via the burgeoning rap scene of the eighties, before hooking up with Dobre who, as luck would have it, had a small home-studio. Experiments in dance ensued. A meeting with DJ Zki at a radio station completed the Three Musketeers' line-up. Early releases came out through fellow countryman Robin 'Jaydee' Albers' First Impressions label, but it was through Touché Records -- started with Dobre -- that Jamez and his cohorts gained international recognition. Both 51 Days' mournful 'Paper Moon' and Trancesetters' heavy-hitting 'The Search' were massive New York club hits. Plenty of others were staples in DJs' boxes around the world, probably because Jamez has mastered the art of syncopated and punchy beats, mellifluous keyboards and catchy hooks. Soulful dance music, in other words. As a remixer, Jamez is no slouch, either, having turned in superb mixes of Paperclip People's 'The Climax', X-Press 2's strident 'The Sound', Humate's 'Choose Life' and a stunning rerub of Der Dritte Raum's 'Alienoid', transforming it into a hypnotically textural house cut. The list goes on and on. After more than 100 releases on world class labels, numerous remixes and many appearances on compilations, he definetly put his mark down. As a DJ he also did his part. Flying from one city to the other, keeping the crowds shouting for more. His mix of techno and tech house takes the listener on a journey through unknown territories, well known hights and deep smooth plains. After a well deserved sabbatical Jamez returned to the scene in 2008, where he hooked up with Soulboy. In the summer of 2009 Christian Smith (Smith & Selway) did a remix for Trancesetters 'The Search'. The track had big support from Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, John Digweed and Adam Beyer. Together with Soulboy, they produced the track Surface Tension, which was in 2009 Kevin Saunderson's summers favourite and was frequently heard on Ibiza Global Radio. While partying a lot Thorin got interested in DJ'ing. He bought some turntables and started to learn mixing 12" records. After 6 months he controlled dj basics. Buying records and records and getting more DJ skills. He also got interested in producing his own music, lucky for him he got in contact with an old friend from his father. That friend started with producing in the early 80's. Maurice learned Thorin the basics of Producing, Maurice already had released some music on different labels and did some things together with Sander Kleinenberg in the early 90's. He was also Sander K's first Sound/Audio engineer. In 1996 Thorin switched from the hardcore house scene to nice and chill Progressive House music. In 2003 Thorin and Maurice started producing together and while doing some social projects they had to start some kind of Production Company. So in 2006 the Promusic Foundation started. 2 cds released in 6 months working on a third, "stichting Promusic" got more projects and work then expected. With that reason Thorin decided to take a break with DJ'ing and focus more on Promusic. Now in 2007 Thorin picked up DJ'ing again and started focus more on his own style of producing. Thorin bought a house and started investing more in a new studio. With a stable home base we can expect a lot in 2007. 2008, Thorin decided to stop buying vinyl and switch to digital mixing. He updated his home studio bought some new equipment and switched over to Traktor scratch with the time coded vinyl. As his parents were boatmen he had to attend boarding school from the age of 6 onwards. To overcome the loneliness of boarding school his parents bought him a walkman. That event literally plugged him into music! He listened a lot to music via tapes and the radio and developed a preference for house music. After a long period of nagging and begging his parents he finally got the best birthday present ever on his 15th birthday: a music mixer and double deck cd player. Every free second of his time went into his devotion to music. 2 years later Jimmy got the chance to prove himself at a cool club in Antwerp: Het Eilandje. Success was immediate: he got his first residency! Not long before he got interested in making his own music. With his savings Jimmy bought his first PC with a sound card and a Korg keyboard. After a few years he discovered his own sound and at the beginning of 2004 he released his first record: Jim-Y - Digital Trumpets. In the meantime he was working on a project with his best friend Ruly. Jimmy had finished a new demo for which he had the perfect voice in mind and boldly he sent it over under the project name R & Y to his favorite vocalist and singer. And guess what!
