Play your music with ease:
- Browse your iTunes music library (songs and podcasts) inside the custom library viewer just as you would in the native Music app
- Queueing: Adding tracks and whole albums to the queue of what your currently playing couldn't be easier: simply flick them left-to-right
- Create and edit your quick playlist (automatically saved for next launch)
- Gesture music controls: Tap to play/pause; Swipe to change tracks; Two-finger tap to skip forward 10 seconds, and three fingers to skip 10 seconds backwards, swipe up/down for volume control (Full instructions in app)
- Tap and hold the shuffle icon to put the player into shuffle mode (shuffles and plays all the songs in your library)
- Variable speed scrubbing slider (scrubbing rate decreases as you move your finger away from the slider)
- View what the next song is to be played by tapping the title of the current song
- Double tap to view iTunes-synced lyrics
- Sleep timer (including option for fading music out)
- Set the speed of your podcast (0.5X, 1.0X, 1.5X and 2.0X)
Artwork Mode:
- A beautiful Artwork Mode that showcases your music library; scroll through all your albums and podcasts and tap to play. Social notifications/icon animations for scrobbling and tweeting will still appear in this mode. Artwork Mode can be viewed in both Portrait and Landscape.
Social Networking:
- Social functions are in easy-reach with the social drop-down menu
- SmartPlayer will automatically sync your 'Now Playing' tracks to your Last.fm profile, and then scrobble them after you've listened to at least 50% or 4 minutes of the song (which ever comes first)
- Songs played offline will be stored in an offline cache and scrobbled when the device has an internet connection
- Share what you're listening to on Facebook
- Tweet what you play (You also have the option to enable automatic tweeting)
- Choose your own Twitter and Facebook prefixes
- Social icon on main screen animates when your song is Tweeted, Shared or Scrobbled
- No need to sync to iTunes/Computer to scrobble your played tracks!
