Not funny enough to be Canadian
Disappointing...not up to T.A.L's standards. Lacked originality and humour.
Who's Canadian they ask? Definitely not the writers and producers of this dreck.
Great episode from either Canadian or American perspective
I disagree completely with the other review here - I thought this episode was very well done and up to TAL's usual standards of excellence. Perhaps a few of the comments hit too close to home for some listeners....
I am Canadian but my partner is American. We listen to TAL all the time together, often driving back and forth across the border. We both found this episode hilarious and at times enlightening. I have to admit there was more than one moment where she turned to me with a comment along the lines of "wow, I thought that was just you! I didn't realize it was the whole country..."
Of course, lots of stereotypes (how could a topic like this not include them?) - but I found the TAL team struck the right balance between challenging them, affirming them, or simply playing them up for good comedy.
